Title I is a federally funded program that provides supplemental educational services so that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education.
LSC's Office of Title I Federal Programs serves public and non-public schools with elevated poverty levels, homeless students, and children residing in neglected and delinquent institutions by providing:
• additional small group reading and math
instruction
• extra teachers and classroom aides
• supplemental educational supplies and equipment
• training for teachers
• outreach to families
