Secondary Book Rental

Parents have the following options for payment:

  2.  Log into PowerSchool to make an on-line payment.

3. Log into PowerSchool to make a payment plan for Book Rental.   Log in.  Select Pay Textbook Rental. Review Summary.   Enter Checkout tab to find the Payment Plan option.  This features allows parents to make 4 equal payments.   Using a credit card number the feature makes 4 equal billings to the provided credit card account.

4.  Seek financial assistance for Book Rental fees.

Students who apply and qualify under the School Lunch Program for free or reduced-price meals will qualify also for assistance for state adopted textbooks and the corresponding workbooks.

To qualify for Book Rental assistance, parents must complete the Application for Free and Reduced Meal Benefits.  The link for this digital application can be found as a quick link on the LSC Home Web Page or by using the following web address: http://lscfronline.lsc.k12.in.us/.  This is also a quick link to this application on the corporation website.

Families with students in grades K-8 who receive food stamps and/or TANF should have received a letter in mid-July notifying them of their free status for the 2015-16 school year.  If you receive this notification letter, you do not need to complete the Free/Reduced Meal application.

Parents receiving this letter should check to make sure that all school-aged children are listed on this letter.  If there is a mistake on this list, a parent should contact LSC @ 765-771-6140 ext. 7364.

Families with students in grades K-8 who do not receive the TANF letter will need to complete a new application.  Only one application per family needs to be completed.

Parents of high school students who think they may qualify for assistance for free or reduced-price meals will have online access to the application for assistance when registering their child online.  Application forms for assistance will also be available in the General Office at the high schools.
